Uber Launched Safety Helpline features in India, passengers can contact anytime 24/7

App Based Cab Service Provider Uber has launched a new feature named ‘Safety Helpline for its customers. Behind launching this feature, the company’s main goal is to provide 24/7 security to its customers. The company launched the beta program of this feature in Chandigarh in March this year, now it has become available overall in India. Riders
can use this feature at any time 24/7 when they needed.

With the help of the Uber safety helpline, Riders can always contact to Uber safety team. Also you will find this feature inside your Uber app. There is no need to download or install anything separately.

To use the Uber safety helpline feature, users have to click on the shield icon in their Uber app. On clicking, you will see the option of safety helpline on the screen. By clicking on it, you will be connected to Uber safety team and will be able to share your problems with them. Let us tell you that in this feature, you will also get the police helpline number 100 if needed, you can also use it. However, the company has also informed that at the moment this future will be not available in the light version of Uber.

The Uber safety helpline feature has been launched not only in India but worldwide.  There are four main reasons behind the launch of this feature. The company says that the safety helpline can be used in case of a driver, root problem, hasty driving or the car breaks down. This app has been now launched in 40 cities of the country. Let us explain you that before India, the company has already made such features available in the US and Canada market.  According to media reports, Uber main rival Ola has also rolled out safety features. Let us tell you that Ola has been providing app based Cab service in India since 2011.
